C O P Y C5/H21.4.20. Re Lord Rocksavage's Car. Chassis 12-LW. We attach a copy of letter Lord Rocksavage handed to the writer yesterday, which sets out the various thinks which he requires. You will notice that he lays special emphasis on the point that he requires the speediest chassis we turn out. Since our pre-war chassis was capable of doing 75 miles under favourable conditions on the track, he thinks we ought to be able to get similar power in his new chassis- provided, of course, he fits a body which presents no more wind resistance than the pre-war speed model, and it is his intention to do this. Will you please give the various points your consideration?. As these items are all in the way of complaints, presumably there will be no charge to Lord Rocksavage? Lord Rocksavage's driver will bring the car to you on Thursday or Friday and will ask for Mr.Platford. C ENCL. | ||
