OUR REF. REG/DK. YOUR REF. RADIO DEPARTMENT 29th November, 1935. Rolls-Royce Ltd., DERBY. WST For the attention of Mr. West Dear Sirs, On your recommendation we have now modified our Car Radio Set, type 243BB, to include an additional fuse of 10 amps. capacity at the battery end of the power line. You may remember that there is also another fuse of 6 amps. capacity at the set end of the power line: these fuses now give complete protection. We believe that you are not in agreement with the supply for the set being taken direct from the battery, and we should like to know whether these new fusing arrangements meet your wishes. In actual fact, most Rolls-Royce cars that we have fitted have given no trouble when power has been taken from the junction box, but we would not like to guarantee quietness under these circumstances, although, as we say, in all the cases we have so far experienced there has been no interference. We would appreciate your remarks on these points. Yours faithfully, PHILIPS LAMPS LIMITED [Signature] CAR RADIO DEPARTMENT.
