re. BATTERIES.
J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} 3., 25HP., & PEREGRINE.

You will recollect that you were going to find out for us whether Exide could supply the universal battery 3-XCMY-1 (standard), and 3-XCMR9-1 (de luxe), which have moulded handles, with a lid{A. J. Lidsey}, as it is this battery, with a lid{A. J. Lidsey}, that we wish to use. The National Accumulator Co. do so, but Exide do not list them.

If then you can send us a drawing of the battery from each firm we will provide the scheme.

For J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} 3. and 25HP. it appears that we should use two 3-XCMR11-1. These have moulded handles, and we wish to have lids, as on the similar National Accumulator Co. battery.

You will remember DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} discussed this with you, and asked for this information, and prints of the batteries from each source of supply.
