X4550 Exptl. Dept. Ha/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}16/KW. 9th July, 1934. L.P. Saunders, Esq., The Harrison Radiator Corporation, Lockport, NEW YORK, U.S.A. Dear Mr. Saunders, Attached is a copy of a letter we have had from Mc.Evoy Ltd. which perhaps will answer your query. We attach a blue print of LoC.3963 which shows the final dimensions of the radiator which we should like to obtain in your latest matrix. We should prefer the thickness of the radiator to be 3.5" deep because of our other radiators being of this thickness, and if we want to get a direct comparison of the efficiency of your core it would be difficult to do so with one 3 1/4" deep. We should be very glad if you would let us know when this radiator will be ready for delivery. If there is likely to be any very considerable delay in getting a 3.5" depth, then we shall have to accept the 3 1/4" deep core, which we can undoubtedly fit to the car. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
