battery to dynamo necessary to cause the cut-out contacts to fall apart shall not exceed 1.0 ampere whether the cut-out be cold or hot, it being supposed that corresponding to the cold condition the battery E.M.F. is in the close neighbourhood of 12.4, and for the hot condition in the close neighbourhood of 13.6.
