Secret

E.A.C.

With reference to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG6.6.24, we should much prefer to have an E.A.C. with front wheel brakes in a state which is satisfactory to you. A few days will not make much difference to us, and I do not wish particularly to drive it up from Derby to London, as I can try it quite well here.

Under the circumstances, I telegraphed you this morning as follows:-

"Prefer to try a car you are satisfied with - not anxious to use it Friday - Can try it here later."
