(1) BLERIOT ELECTRICAL CUT-OUT.

The Committee were of the opinion that the above piece was a sound and workmanlike instrument, and that all possible should be done to obtain early standardisation, as desired by R. {Sir Henry Royce}

Subject to a further number of Cut-Outs passing the necessary tests satisfactorily, particularly tests on the road, and in order to save time, it was agreed to immediately obtain up to one dozen Cut-Outs, and place these on all experimental and trials cars.

There is also the question of supplies to be gone into. Wd. {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} is visiting the Bleriot firm tomorrow to make enquiries.

Mr.Clarke pointed out that if this Cut-Out was used it could be used with the present Lucas Switch Box but not in a satisfactory manner. It would be better to make use of it with the R.F.Switch Box, in which case a small auxiliary junction board would be necessary.
