c o p y HOOPER & CO. (COACHBUILDERS) LTD. Western Avenue, Acton London. W.3. OFR/RGM 23rd March 1959. F.C. Honeyman, Esq., Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd. 14-15 Conduit Street, London. W.1. Dear Mr. Honeyman, 1959 "T" Type Bentley, Silver Cloud & Continental Bentley chassis Further to my letter of 10th November 1958, I have had second thoughts on the matter of the light gauge chassis frame. Our Sales Department have now been instructed to order all chassis for Hooper & Company with the heavy gauge frame whether such chassis are intended for Drop Head Coupes or Saloons. It may be that you intend to use the heavy gauge frame for the long wheelbase Bentley or Silver Cloud as a standard in which case there would be no problem but with the Continental Bentley, I certainly think it desirable to have the thicker gauge frame in every case. Yours sincerely, O.F. Rivers Director & Chief Designer. | ||
