Childs} /GJ. Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /RC. {R. Childs} 11/JH.2.2.40. re Ripplet. Will you please arrange for the positive side of the battery to be earthed on this car. With regard to the temporary engine B.60 No.3 we shall use the existing engine units, but as we are earthing the positive side of the battery the dynamo will require a slight modification. The insulation of the brush holder will require changing over to the other side, thus earthing the positive side of the dynamo instead of the negative side.
