R.R. 696. (30 T) (S.H. 326. 31-1-21). Bm. 2/6/15. X3730 Bs{A J. Barnes - Assistant Manager}6/KW10.8.21. X3730 S/W. X180 Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Re - Body for Goshawk II. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}5/LG5.8.21. We understand that all the bodies at present built for the Goshawk chassis will be available for the Experimental Chassis. We were under the impression that you had already agreed to accept one of the Mulliner open bodies for your first Experimental Chassis, which we presume is the one referred to by Mr. Royce. Are we to take it now that you will not require this body? The second open body will be available for the second Experimental Chassis. This second body was approved by Mr. Elliott on behalf of Mr. Royce and will we presume be satisfactory if fitted to the chassis which it is intended to send to Mr. Royce. The only other body built for Goshawk chassis was the small limousine built by Hoopers for the original Goshawk - do you think this would satisfy your needs for a closed body for experimental work? We believe it would require a certain amount of modification to make it suitable for the Goshawk chassis as at present evolved. Beyond the three bodies referred to above, we have not yet drawn up a programme for Goshawk bodies. We have enquiries out with various Coachbuilders for various types of bodies, but so far nothing definite has been settled. C/Bs.{A J.
