| EW Please note P S/W Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}..from Bkl. HSO? Bkl.1/23.6.39 Jmy I must say that I most cordially agree with your view that Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}'s Dept. have produced an excellent sketch of the Bentley front. It is a great deal better than the one Clark did. In fairness to Clark I should add that he was restricted strictly to line, whereas the drawing you have sent in is half-tone. An artist can get a very much better impression with half-tone than he can with plain line. Jm{Mr Morley} The drawing you have submitted, however, is so good that I propose reproducing it just as it is in half-tone on glossy paper on a page by itself. All the other drawings are line and will be reproduced on rough paper. With regard to your suggestion that you we have better artists at the Works than we have been able to find at Sales. Who would question anything W. did ! Are they not infallible!! Bkl. | ||
