EXHAUST VALVE.

This memo to confirm that you will examine the broken exhaust valve which has been handed to Mr. Whitehead with a view to finding out any explanation for the failure.

The actual valve failed after 7,000 miles in France on Wraith (26.G.VI), the material being KE.965 (stellited) and to E.61299.
