Technical note regarding servo judders on the 35-EX Phantom III.

Martindale}12/JH.2.3.37. 35-EX Phantom III Servo Judders. We note that you have used a thinner washer in between the servo star springs to prevent judders. Now that you have removed the slack from the rear brake rope we suggest that you could, for a test, run without star springs at all, and that you will get no judders until slack develops again. If slack repeadedly develops, a spring fixed on the countershaft to hold this in the "off" position will have the same effect, as keeping the brake taught.
