X 6129. c. Roy.{Sir Henry Royce} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.5/AD. October 26th, 1931. Messrs. North & Sons, Ltd. Whippendell Rd. Watford. Dear Sirs, Watford Speedometer. We find that the length of flexible drive supplied with this speedometer is much too long for the chassis to which it is fitted, namely our standard 20/25 HP. The length we require is 4'7". We have connected up the speedometer temporarily but before commencing the test we shall be glad if you will kindly forward to us the correct length of flexible drive as given above. Upon receipt of this we will then return to you the original flexible drive as this will be no further use to us. Yours faithfully, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
