Dear Sirs,

Confirming our telephone conversation this afternoon, we require sufficient leather to upholster a quarter scale model of a motor car body, preferably in grey green.

The outside of the car will be painted green. Unfortunately we cannot send you a pattern of the colour, as we have not got one available.

We are wondering if you have sufficient leather in stock, of a colour that might be suitable.

We estimate that it would take about 15 square feet. The hide should be as thin as possible, owing to the size of the job.

It was arranged that you would see what you have in stock and post us today some sample cuttings.

Thanking you,

Yours sincerely,
