It is essential to modify during machining the front pivot in order to obtain sufficient metal between the steering lever and the vertical wall of metal carrying the pivot. West WitteringHenry Royce's home town agree that the alteration is essential. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} also agree. I have not been able to submit it to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} or telephone to you, as it was too late to-day to get in touch with either.
