BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} FROM DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} Copy to BJ. HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} "SS{S. Smith}" EXHAUST SYSTEM. X7230 Herewith we send N. sch. 2715. shewing the heat shield over the silencer. It is on the lines of those previously sent for Phantom and EAC. 7., but on account of the different shaped silencer end there are slight alterations necessary. We have shewn the rear end only. We think it may be desirable to fit a similar shield to the centre of the tank, and possibly to the forward end. This can be determined by experiment. The positions are shewn on the quarter size general arrangement N. sch. 2702., also herewith. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} [STAMPED]: RECEIVED 24 SEP | ||
