EVI/30.4.34.

I am sending you a note just to confirm that you said that you would talk to Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} about getting a chassis for the Coachwork Experimental Car. I presume that this will be on Tuesday.

There is one point that occurred to me since I spoke to you about the matter, that is that the car should be recognised as a Derby car belonging to the Experimental Dept.

The other matter which I would like to get a ruling on is the question of an All Steel Body on one of our Chassis.

If you remember we agreed that we should try to get one for Bentley, this being the only chassis on production which has a modern wide frame which this type of body demands.

If we can get Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} to agree we will go ahead and see what we can get. There will be the problem of obtaining a chassis. We could have used it for 5.B.4. but we have a body almost ready for that chassis. A suggestion is that you might like to persuade Lp.{Mr Lappin} to have one of you expl.bodies.

I hope to be in Derby either the end of this week or early the next week.

EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}
