Rolls Royce Ltd., DERBY. 29th June, 1937. SWJ/JL. RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/LES.2/AP. ATTENTION MR. LESLIE. Dear Sirs, Further to our telephone conversation of the 23rd of June when we informed you that we had successfully produced samples of a bush similar to the 1 1/8" diameter Inlox bush, we are now pleased to inform you that we have made bushes similar to those shown in suggestion I on drawing S.37222, a copy of which we enclose. You will remember our difficulty in producing a bush with an inner sleeve exactly corresponding to the Inlox type, and your promise to consider modifications that we might suggest. Various proposals are shown in suggestions 2, 3 and 4 on the drawing referred to above; all of these can be made without much difficulty, and we shall be pleased if you will let us know of which type you would prefer us to make samples for you to test. We look forward, with interest, to your reply, Yours faithfully, SILENTBLOC LIMITED TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT. ENC. Drawing. | ||
