CONDITION OF AXLE TUBES AFTER 10000 MILES TEST IN FRANCE
AXLE TUBES G 83810-11. MATL - S/N.
PROCEDURE FOR CHECKING ALIGNMENT.
A MANDRIL WAS FITTED INSIDE THE AXLE TUBES, AND THIS ASSEMBLY WAS MOUNTED AND SPUN IN A LATHE. CLOCK READINGS WERE TAKEN AT VARIOUS POINTS ON THE AXLE TUBES THE MAX ECCENTRICITY SHOWN AS FOLLOWS.
