Re Tests on SR Battery (179)

This battery was removed from the M.S. for bench tests & on low rate discharge through a constant external resistance of 1.50w 68.9 ampere hours were obtained. All cells discharged equally & showed positive weakness on the Cadmium test. After a full charge it was given a high rate discharge through a constant external resistance of 100w

Initial amperes = 110.3
Time to 104 " = 11.0 min
" " 100 " = 14.6 "
" " 90 " = 18.4 "
" " 80 " = 19.6 "

It was noticed on this test that the cells which are fitted with
