Criticism regarding the hinge visibility on a Bentley 20/25 bonnet.

RE: BENTLEY BONNET. ------------------ Referring to EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Thn.8/MH.{M. Huckerby} 27.3.34. we have examined a 20/25 bonnet, and have obtained the Test Department's views and they concur with ourselves that as the bonnet is not thrown right over and opened up, the hinge cannot be seen, and therefore the criticism put forward appears to be purely an academic one. In any case, the remedy is merely to spray the hinge lightly with enamel on the underside, but even this does not appear to me to be necessary under the circumstances. BY.{R.W.
