RE: BENTLEY BONNET.
------------------

Referring to EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Thn.8/MH.{M. Huckerby} 27.3.34. we have examined
a 20/25 bonnet, and have obtained the Test Department's views
and they concur with ourselves that as the bonnet is not thrown
right over and opened up, the hinge cannot be seen, and therefore
the criticism put forward appears to be purely an academic one.
In any case, the remedy is merely to spray the hinge lightly
with enamel on the underside, but even this does not appear to
me to be necessary under the circumstances.
