Dear Sir,

You will be interested to learn, in view of the general tendency towards finding some more satisfactory and economical method of fuel delivery for automobiles, that we have designed and constructed a simple electrically operated plunger pump for this purpose.

This pump commences to deliver petrol when there is an engine demand, delivers in proportion to the demand up to 12-gallons per hour, and ceases to operate when there is no demand. No manually-operated switch is necessary. The pump is a compact unit, size 7 1/2-inches by 3-inches by 3-inches, is silent, extremely simple and cheap to construct, and is fireproof.

The pump is constructed to deliver petrol to the carburettor, at atmospheric pressure, at a pre-determined pressure above atmosphere, or by an extremely simple device petrol can be delivered to the carburettor and or induction ports at high pressure for priming, starting, or fast running.

Two pumps are now undergoing a thirty days' continuous running test at the National Physical Laboratory, London, and if you are interested, we shall be pleased to send you further information and illustrations, and to forward to you a copy of the N.P.L. report when we receive it. We should be pleased also to arrange for a pump to be placed at your disposal for examination and test.

The pump is a British invention, on which the Complete Specification has been filed, and further British and foreign Patents applied for.

Yours truly,
p.p. MORISCOT PETROLIFTS,
(Signed) MURRAY D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} SCOTT.
