Attention: Mr. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} West,
Reference - Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.9/Ma.

Gentlemen:

We have your letter of May 7 concerning a magne-to electric tachometer, type 70-05. To prevent a misunderstanding, we wish to point out that the instrument is a magnetic tachometer driven by a flexible drive shaft from the engine. It has occasionally been construed as an electrical instrument.

We are at present re-designing the tachometer to improve its performance, and prefer to wait to send you data when our tests have been completed.

The price will be in the neighborhood of $30.00 each.

Thank you for your interest.

Very truly yours,

KOLLSMAN INSTRUMENT COMPANY, Inc.

G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} R.{Sir Henry Royce} Adolph
