We appreciate that if we ever decide to make a side by side rod 12-cylinder engine, we shall closely reproduce the present narrow pin crankshaft practice. This makes the experiment of further interest. We shall be glad if you will put in hand a design for a larger crankshaft slipper wheel and damper, as we are sure that we already require this to get the maximum freedom from vibration.
