Programme of Work to be carried on with during the week commencing 14.8.39.

1.R.1. Chassis almost complete in the fitting shop. Spare parts to go with the chassis are in the Exptl. Garage stores.

Please take a list of any missing chassis parts and weight the chassis and spares before despatching same to Messrs. Park Ward. See Mr.Barkworth, Transport Dept. about a lorry to transport chassis.

11.B.V. Martindale and Clapham can have this car for suspension tests.

If there is a chance, see Hollingworth about fitting an isolated prop. shaft centre bearing.

10.B.V. This car wants to be made standard attached is a specification by Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} which should be worked to. Front dampers require removing and poundage setting correctly - see Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Clm.{D. D. Clapham}

Petrol tank filler is unsatisfactory, filling has to be done slowly to avoid blow back.

Rear exhaust box requires lagging, clearance between the silencer and body is insufficient. Check speedometer cable for bad bend, the needle oscillates violently.

Hand control to dampers, seized up, please clear.

Front stabiliser has been borrowed for 2.B.50. try and get new one fitted by shop.

12.B.V. Is being run by Lewis & Ward in London traffic, a list of jobs being carried out by fitters on desk.

9.B.V. Being worked on by Edwards - thermostats.

8.B.V. Being worked on by Electrician, new position for hidden aerial being found.
