4.B.50.

Will you please have the following work carried out on the above car.

1. Engine damper to be changed to Studebaker type, built up with 30/35 durometer rubbers.

2. Fit small exhaust expansion boxes to the rear silencer, similar to those fitted to 11.B.9.

3. Fit a modified front engine mounting with flat feet as on 11.B.9., strengthened up as much as possible.

4. Check pivots for oil, reported dry, with excessive oil leaks at the centre steering arm, and ball ends.

5. Measure castor angle and length of pendulum lever.

6. Clearances to be increased to .003 sideways and .005 on dia. rear expander units, and on the rear brake shoe links, as shown on Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}611.
