RE NOISY OIL PUMPS.

In connection with RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}'s cure for the above I believed you mentioned that the pump gear wheels could be made in mild steel instead of nickel. RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} has made some gears in this metal and we wish to bring it into production, but By/Cgh{W Clough} is doubting the material and wants a standardisation sheet. We do not think this is necessary but would be pleased to have your views on the matter.
