Instructions for the production and supply of brackets, clips, and associated parts for the D.W.S. jacks on the Phantom II chassis.

CHASSIS - D.W.S. JACKS. Further to BY/Cgh.{W Clough}15/G.30.11.32. it has now been agreed that we should produce the brackets and clips for securing the D.W.S. jacks to the front axles, therefore the following drawings should be issued to the Works, with the necessary instructions to proceed:- G.80262 Clip for Jack Bracket. G.80263 Bracket for Jack. G.80261 Pad for Clip. The following stock parts are required in connection with the above :- K.4011 7/16" Nut. 4 off per chassis. K.4511 Grover Washer. 4 off per chassis. We send herewith to ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} print of RR.Sch.283 showing D.W.S. jack and brackets for the rear axle and RR.Sch. 297 showing the D.W.S. jack and brackets for the front axle. These prints should be sent to Messrs. Sessions in order that they may see what kind of brackets we intend to supply, and they should supply the jacks with studs, nuts and Grover washers, as shown on these drawings. It should be noted that the studs for the front axle jack are to be longer than those for the rear. BY/Cgh.{W Clough} | ||
