LV677 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} To E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} re 20/25. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}11/E22.10.34 In the Design Office list of work in hand for 20/25's, I notice it says: S.U. Electric Petrol Pumps. I should like to raise this matter when we meet on Thursday. I think we might usefully apply the question: What does the customer get out of it? So far as Sales Dept. is concerned, we are not at all keen to have this change and should merely regard it as an alteration which would bring the usual complication of making the stock obsolescent. I do not know what the Works point of view would be as regards production but I should have thought there was no great advantage in the change. The Autovac petrol feed as fitted appears to be quite satisfactory in service. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
