X.5410 To BJ. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} S E C R E T. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG24.6.25. I N D I A.{Mr Adams} X5770 In order that the question of springs for 'India' may be definitely settled, we are making a big effort to try and bring a closed car to London on Friday as well as an open car. This car will not have the 4-speed box or brake operating mechanism but in order to avoid any contention that the front wheel brake axle may affect the springing, we are arranging to fit an axle fitted with front wheel brakes to this car. The brakes, however, cannot be used. The car will be a Barker limousine. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
