SPEEDOMETER FOR CAR 30.G.VII.

The rear axle ratio on car 30.G.VII, has been altered from 9/37 to 11/41, necessitating the re-calibration of the speedometer.

Will you therefore please arrange for this instrument No.X.559 to be returned to the makers and calibration altered from its present value of 703 revs. per mile to 629 revs. per mile.

At the same time, will you please instruct them to fit a dial with a scale reading up to 110 m.p.h.

This is extremely urgent as the car is due to leave for France on the 26th. inst.
