Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std X7060 To K.{Mr Kilner} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Copy to Wer.Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std. Re. Bx. Re Self-Adjusting Tappets. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}22/E5.2.34 Referring to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.10/KW.31.1.34 relative to the self-adjusting tappets supplied by Self-Adjusting Tappets Ltd., judging from the report it certainly looks as if the type in question would not be satisfactory for us. I am not quite clear what is the one we were using on Peregrine etc. Bn.{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington} seems to think that it was one of General Motors' devices but I should be glad if you would let me know, and also what sort of results we had. At the same time I should be glad if you would let me know when we expect to be using self-adjusting tappets on any of our cars. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
