I am very please to receive your note which has certainly enlightened me much more on this job.
I am quite in agreement with your note. Obviously if we had been fitting these slow type of bearings for so long and you had only instructed the newer type of ball bearing because you considered it an an improvement, I think it should naturally follow that we should not immediately proceed to pull ball bearings out of chassis which are already built up, but only to take advantage of the improved type that you had suggested, and incorporate it at the earliest possible moment.
I trust that the design Department can see their way clear to fall in with your proposal.
