re Bentley Bumper Bar Sling LeC.

We should be glad if you would arrange to circulate a standardisation sheet for bringing in the above device on all 4 1/4 litre Bentley chassis.

One set has already been fitted to the trials car, and two more sets should shortly be available on which we wish to have the tests made as in E.7/HP.28.2.36.

We are also putting a proposal forward to make the fitting of a sling retrospective on all Bentley cars carrying bumpers, and for this purpose a modification of LeC.5016 will be required for those cars not fitted with a dropped front crossmember.
