RE. CLEANING OF RADIATORS.

With reference to Ps15/IL30.3.28. We consider that if the solution is circulated in the system for ½ hr. with the engine running slowly it should clear the matrix core, but obviously it depends to a certain extent upon the state of the matrix. We consider that 70° is a reasonable temperature.

We think it is advisable for you to use Kleenwell. We have actually carried out tests on this to ascertain that it does not affect the radiator tubes or the rubber hose.

We will send you an exact analysis of its average composition so that at a future date you may be able to make up your own supplies locally.

For the time being, at any rate, we think it is worth while to get 20 lbs. from the Works.
