E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} SpectreCodename for Phantom III Rear Axle Centre Casing. The level plugs on the centre casing have been criticised as being rather inaccessible due to being on the same side as the brake linkage. There seems no reason why the plug should not be on the exhaust side, and we should like this done. It will be remembered that two drain plugs were instructed for the first car, the idea being that experience would show whether the forward or backward position was the more convenient. It may have been possible to come to a decision on the point by now? Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
