| X240 RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} 9/KT. 23.3.33. BENSPORT. EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} has given us a scheme for the Bensport radiator whereby we delete the radiator shutters, fit a thermostat instead, and regain the appearance of the radiator by fitting a stone guard as an integral part of the loose shell radiator. Lid.{A. J. Lidsey} has already talked over with you a means of fitting the old 40/50 thermostat to the 25 HP. unit, which is what is required to take place of the shutters. It will be better to try this in conjunction with N.Sch.3710 than on 18.G.IV. as originally suggested, particularly as we are hurrying 18.G.IV. away. The main object of this scheme is to get rid of the shutters which (a) cost £13.0.0. (b) weigh 13 lbs. With regard to the material which the guard is constructed, we are sending you samples which FOY. has obtained for us, and we think the chromium one would be very satisfactory. Will you please order as required. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rn.{Mr Robinson} | ||
