contd :- -2- round the dash, the advantage being that this would stiffen it where it is coupled to the radiator stay, but really the column seems at present to be the source of the trouble; if we could give local strength to the dash to support it and use semi isolation we should have little to worry about. These remarks may appear to be somewhat grotesque but the car will be back in England in a fortnight, when we shall be able to demonstrate the way in which the present dash flexes.
