Continued discussion on troubleshooting dash flexing, with the steering column identified as the likely source of the trouble.

round the dash, the advantage being that this would stiffen
it where it is coupled to the radiator stay, but really
the column seems at present to be the source of the trouble;
if we could give local strength to the dash to support it
and use semi isolation we should have little to worry about.

These remarks may appear to be somewhat grotesque
but the car will be back in England in a fortnight, when we
shall be able to demonstrate the way in which the present
dash flexes.
