For the attention of D.Sessions Esq.

Dear Sirs,

re Portable Hydraulic Jacks.

We regret the delay in replying to your letter of April 30th. last, re the provision of a trunnion mounting for the portable Hydraulic jack, and apologise.

The issue as we see it seems to be this :-

If you will put some form of trunnion on the stem of the jack, with a means of hooking the jack onto the horns of the frame extensions, front and rear, we will make the said horns to suit the jack.

These horns are forgings in all cases and carry the bumper bar.

We enclose herewith a print of PL.70 shewing a typical front bumper, mounted on the forgings which also take the jack.

Originally we placed the jack between the bumper front bar, and the bumper fixing.

Since this caused the bumper to stand too far away from the car, we have now decided to place the jack outside the bumper both front and rear.

If you design the jack fixing to suit the front

P.T.O.
