To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from EFC.
EFCl/T1.3.27.
MODIFICATIONS TO IGNITION ON EXPERIMENTAL CHASSIS.
Further to our EFCl/T9.11.26 asking for certain modifications to the ignition on experimental chassis in order that our various contact point experiments shall be carried out under right conditions, will you kindly note that the important portion of this is the provision of a hole in the distributor base on chassis 9-G3 and 12-EX. and these we would like done at your earliest convenience.
In regard to the provision of the extra window in the bakelite head, we herewith cancel the instructions in this connection in view of the fact that it means a new head and that there is already one window, so that the experimental conditions will not be much affected by the absence of the second one. The provision of holes in the bases of the distributors on 9-G3 and 12-EX however we consider important.
EFC.
