To RP. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to HY.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} c. to Rx. [Handwritten]: X5310 HsS/LG6. 10.35. 20 HP. GEARBOX. [Handwritten]: X5310 Y4247 The question of ventilation of the 20 HP. gearbox was gone into on experimental cars. We found that there is no advantage in drilling a hole for ventilation. We would like however to take one of the cars complained of for oil leaks and carry out this one test, that is, drill a ventilation hole. We know where we can drill it conveniently. We therefore propose to arrange with Mr. that this test should be carried out. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
