Graham Petrol Consumption Tests.

1st Test. Consumption with engine running light at 35 MPH:
Suction ignition advance working = 17.6 M.P.G.
" " disconnected 17.2 "

2nd Test. Driving as hard as possible.
Suction ignition advance working = 13.4 M.P.G.
" " disconnected 13.4 "

These tests have been carried out between
Derby and Loughborough using the same route direction for
each comparative test.

Petrol used was a measured gallon from a
gravity tank.

The speed of 35 M.P.H. was taken as this is
the speed equivalent to the maximum ignition advance.
