Re B-Vs.{J. Vickers}

With further reference to your Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}6/ML27.1.41, I have now ascertained that there are only 3. B-V chassis at 'N' which have gearboxes, the numbers being B-28-AW, B-38-AW and B-30-AW; The latter has a partially finished Mulliner body fitted. We have no Corniche chassis with gearboxes.

I understand the suggestion has been made (I do not know by whom) that the gearbox ex B-28-AW should be fitted to Jack Barclay's car.

There is also the car at Youngs, which we have referred to previously, and this has a gearbox.

Meantime the Devereux car No. B-24-AW is ready so that if you want to amke make any modifications the car can come up to you at any time.

When do you expect to have our Trials car ready? You will remember I am waiting to give Devereux a run on this
