When I was at N. this week, Br.{T. E. Bellringer - Repair Manager} pointed out to me a new car, Chassis GKM-33, which was fitted with special road springs and which had been Cadmium plated.
It would appear that instructions to Cadmium plate these springs were issued by BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer}

As we understand Cadmium plated road springs have not been standardised, we take it that in special cases, such as the above chassis, it may be done.

As we have a number of such cases, we should be glad if we could be instructed to Cadmium plate also.
