Querying why Bentley con rod bearings require filing to fit the housing.

Kingsbury have received a further set of con rods where the bedding of the bearing metal in the housing was so bad that they had to be re-bedded. There does not seems to be any reason why the bearings should have to be filed to fit the housing.
