To HLC, 24684 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}14/KM.19.9.34. SpectreCodename for Phantom III. While this car is in the shop will you please carry out the following modifications to the clutch. (1) Remove the foul between the fingers and casing in the 'out' position so that we can use the full pedal travel. (2) Dismantle the clutch for examination and replace the square driving pins G.81316 by circular ones, as we think the latter less likely to jamb under load. We understand that the rear brake shoes cannot be removed without taking the rear axle out of the chassis. If this is so will you please let us have suggestions for remedying this as we wish, when new springs are ready, to alter those under the Gen. shoes. Will you also please put in hand servo cams to G.81753/4 but of 30° angle. We expect this will necessitate 3 instead of 4 dogs. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} | ||
