Re Stiffening Front of Frames.

With reference to the stiffening of the frames, and engine vibration:-

I thank Mr. Hives for his suggestion, but I think what we are doing should make no difference.

I should be of the opinion that 2704 would be found to be a more powerful engine, possibly with a slightly higher compression.

High compression and very tight pistons and good carburation would make this vibration very marked.

The only thing I can suggest to reduce it is to try experimentally rubber under the rear engine feet.

It is I believe the rigidity between the rear engine feet, the frame and the body, which makes this vibration pass from the engine to the body.
