Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. WST vLoo17. BY/RD1/W.28.3.35. "SPECTRECodename for Phantom III" IGNITION COIL,D.74200. With reference to your request Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst4/MA.8.3.35, for a Stalloy plate core for the above coil,we have looked into this matter and find that we cannot get any more iron into the space available than the present Swedish iron wire arrangement. Furthermore the difficulty of bending over strip material at either end is increased,in fact we do not think it possible to bend over the plates in the space available. Before ordering any material will you, therefore, let us know :- (a) whether you are prepared to do away with some of the "hedgehogging" at the ends. (b) whether the improvement anticipated is due to the change of material or the anticipated extra amount of iron. BY/RD. | ||
