HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} [Handwritten]: 600a CHATEAUROUX 2/.21.2.38. 26.G.VI.- 25/30 HP. Ignition Distributor. We have received from HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} drawings and instructions for fitting the R.R. distributor with Ex.30376 adaptor to enable quick change-over to be made. As reported in our memo Chateauroux 2/18.2.38, we found nothing the matter with the second Delco which failed beyond the sheared pin in the driving dog. We are wondering if there was really anything else the matter with the first distributor which we returned to you, as we note that all the governors rattle when the unit is shaken. If the only trouble is that the attachment of the driving dog is not sufficiently secure, do you still wish us to change over to the R.R. distributor ?
